Dear Rabbi,

Somewhat belatedly I'd like to express my very grateful thanks for the gifts of all sorts of foodstuffs which we can't get here very easily.  The oats or Corn Flakes I use every single day and am so grateful for because cereal sets you up for the whole day and it doesn't matter so much if you have bread or you don't.

We have been loaned a bread machine from friends who are away so I use the flour from the AJC to bake our own bread and it's getting better every time!

Whenever I've written to friends or relatives overseas this year I've told them about the help that we've been privileged to receive from the African Jewish Congress so I hope that in my small way I've let people know and that it'll get back somehow to the generous donors wherever they may be.

Thank you for coming and making time for me on a personal matter.
